With the release of ACB just around the corner, just a quick reminder.. which will hopefully cut down on the RAAAAAAAAGE threads...

[For new members, you old timers will know already!]

Store Exclusive codes, such as the Harlequin are the stores responsibility to give to you.

DO NOT leave the store without checking you have the codes you are entitled to!

Ubisoft will not be able to offer or replace those codes - so please make sure you collect it at the time of purchase.

[online orders may receive the codes via a card or email, depending on the site.]

Other content, such as Maps and other items will be in the box, however feel free to double check with the store http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Download tokens will be locked to your region/country, so if you post to 'swap or trade' codes, make sure you state the region or country.

All limited editions and Codex Editions are STRICTLY limited stock - so once they are sold out, that's it, it's not a marketing ploy to have that 'Strictly limited stocks' warning on the adverts, Ubisoft will not be making any more.

If you have pre-ordered you should have no worries, however should the store /site oversell and not be able to fulfill your order, then that is their fault not Ubisofts.

Hopefully the stores and sites are being responsible and only selling /pre-selling the amount of stock they know they have, so please do not worry too much, but if your're concerned, please contact them and do not post on the forums asking, since we may not know http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Have a great weekend, and hope you have a great launch on Tuesday and Friday - I am so looking forward to this! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Thanks for the heads up Shade. I've yet to have a problem with missing codes or content. However Amazon DID stiff me on the $10 off thing they do for 2 games I ordered thru them. While it would be nice if they honored that I care less about that than I do about content including the pre-order bonus codes.

What edition has EVERYTHING in it? Seems to me that one way or another not all content can be procured without buying multiple editions of the game.
And that's not very nice, I purchased DLC for AC2 early on only to see a variation of the pack I bought come out later with a couple of extra items that basically required me to repurchase what I already had to get them. Obviously I didn't out of principle but it just kind of sucks that this marketing/profit strategy deprives the gamer of the full experience. I love the franchise and Ubi games but I'm sad to see this company jumping on the "shaft the gamer for more money" bandwagon. Let me get it all in one go if I want or at least not have to overspend to get expansions to what I already purchased. Trying to give a supplier an edge with store specific content is taking away from the final customer.
