Is it my imagination or is the UZO more powerful than the binoculars. Because the UZO was used for aiming, I would think it would have to be a fairly low magnification. But I would think the binoculars the lookouts used would be really powerful.

UZO is 7x.

Aren't the standard set of Naval Binos.. 10x50?

I have no idea, but I know they must be pretty powerful.

If the Uzo is 7 power, the binos must be 5 or 6 at most.

I find the binos more powerful than the uzo especially since downloading the 9th Flotillas mod.

The binos are the same as the attack periscope which is 6x i believe. However i never use the UZO because of the nvidia problem or whatever it is, Lags up alot. Surface attacks ill just raise my attack periscope a bit.

Here is some info on Kreigsmarine Biocs developed by Zeiss - I have not tested the FOV ingame:

As far as im aware 7X was standard with most lookouts, the 8X being alot more rare.
UZO was always 8X to my knowledge.
