ok , i got a set of ch pedals which are gameport connection and i also got a gameport to usb cable adaptor thinking that would do the trick but i cant get the pedals to enable as they should , has anyone tried this or are there any simple answers other than getting a soundcard with a gameport ?

Have you tried over at the CH Hangar?

http://www.ch-hangar.com

I'm sure you can't mix gameport and usb controllers.

Your pedal dont show under Control Panel as 3 axis control - rudder, left, right brakes?

Whit gameporte tri this:

"How to use your old CH PRO Pedal gameporte, stand alone in our mobo/sound card gameporte, and not need of another gameporte Joystick or gameporte to USB adapter!

The procedure is for 1 CH PRO Pedal gameporte usage whit 1 USB stick (CH Flighstick, Saitek X-45, X-52...).

Is necessary to download the drivers here:

ftp://ftp.chproducts.com/pub/chanlg08.exe

The CH PRO Pedal has 3 cables:
-1 male DB15 label "GAMEPORT"
-1 male DB1515 lebel "AUX PORT"
-1 female DB15 label "JOYSTICK"

Plug the GAMEPORT DB15 in your mobo gameporte.
Then plug the male "AUX PORT" in to the female " JOYSTICK" conector.

Install the driver download previously. Under Game Controls in Control Panel, u see now: CH PRO Pedals. Got to Calibrate and enjoy.

The down size: the CH PRO PEDAL assume device ID1 under IL2, for instance. Nothing serious."

Found this tip in France forum.

My greatest piece of advise to you would be to learn to use the search function on these forums.

"It's all there in the holy search function, if only people would use it."
