the red dot on the reflex scope disappears sometimes in normal view(not sight view). i remember first installing the game and noticing it, but after than it has never come back.

here's a screenshot to prove that it was there before:

oh and tips to ubi for the next patch's fixes: instead of shining multiple light sources at the same spot to produce a brighter surface, use 1 intense source to cut down on the lag. there are also plenty of dx9 techniques to be used to produce the same effects you guys are using more resources than necessary to produce. it seems like you guys are using some techniques which generate a large amount of lag when in fact you could take advantage of features present in dx9 already.

So the red dot doesn't apear when your "not" scoped in? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Seems like thats no big deal unless it disapears when you are scoped.

i was just wondering if they could maybe put it back on, as it has apparently been turned off by a patch or something

wait, are you talking about the red dot in the center of your scope? It's NOT visible unless you are aiming through it. That's just how it operates in real life. It reflects a laser off the center of the lens/glass. It is only visible when you are looking through it correctly.

That picture you posted is inaccurate to real life.

so i guess that's why they removed it. i could have sworn i saw it when i first played. any confirmation on this?
