Any chance these questions can be answered.

1) What graphical options are available in game options particularly in regard to Anti- Aliasing.
As beautiful as some of the screenshots are some have jagged edges.
So is AA changeable in game or with the Graphics Cards own options?

2) In a Multiplayer Game how far away do players start from the Convoy?
How many Nautical Miles? And if quite far can you use time compression in MP?

3) If you typetalk in MP(I assume a Chat option is included) is this picked up by Escorts using HF/DF?

1) no AA options in game graphics menu (so I suppose card options only, unless something in ini file)

2) As far as I saw, not very far away at all (please ask Gouldjg, Ada996, chaserjock or any other of the 'lucky 10')

3) I agree with dagamecat - what an excellent idea!

Yep, that's a good idea - but what would stop people using Teamspeak or MSN or something else instead?

I agree we could use voice comms, and I'm sure that I will enjoy doing that on multiplayer.

But if we wanted a more realistic game, all we'd have to do is agree to not use voice comms, and use text-only chat with HF/DF, I think it would be awesome. After all we can agree to do that, as we're all fighting on the same side http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

This is honestly one of the best ideas I've heard.

Cool then we are agreed.

I actually think this should be modelled in the game.
You always type no matter what.
However if you are within 50ft of another U-Boat and on the surface it is considered to be done by Megaphone.(Safe) Within a couple of hundred then by Flags or Signal Lamp.(Safe) Up to 1nm then Signal Lamp only.(Safe) However anything above this range is Radio and can be picked up on HF/DF with the appropriate reactions from the Escorts.

You could still use Voice Comms and i will be using Teamspeak with my guys.
But i'd be happy to type a full stop(Period Key) and press enter at same time to let the AI know i have transmitted a message.

SH2 multiplayer simulated HF/DF for team chat, plus you could not team chat unless you were either surfaced or at PD, I can't remember which...

The Multiplayer games that come with vanilla version seem to put you all close to the convoy. However the game comes with a full editor so there will be tonnes of multi games made with different rules etc.

I am sure if everyone stuck to the system in the game and just used the game radio, you will find it a lot more interesting.

I love this game but would like to see multiplayer games options where you are given a set ammount of renown and option to customise crew and boat as you please before playing. As it stands now you get to choose boat and crew skill level then off you go, all on the same level.

If the above is done then we would have many interesting set ups.

I would also prefer a penalty given for destroying DD unless emegency action was needed. I know this would be hard to do as many people find a better buz in taking out the DD rather than the merchants.

Well can any of the Beta Testers or anyone else who has a preview copy advise what recation they get from escorts when chat is typed?

It may already be implemented.
