S!

I would like to again thank all of the great pilots who participated in this event. Great flying by all!

Well this week we had several targets to destroy. The tanks were actually the most difficult as they were hard to find. The AAA was not the easiest to take out especially for the IJA/IJN flyers whose aircraft could not take much in the way of damage. A hearty congrats to the CAP Pilots on both sides who did an outstanding job and made the job even more difficult for the Strike Pilots. In the first round Blue team, flying IJN/IJA, took the victory by a small margin. The second round will require review of the track but it appears as if the Red Team, flying IJA/IJN, squeaked out a victory. The IJA/IJN flew Ki-84's (A & B models only not the 'C' model). The USN/USMC flew mainly F4U's with some F6F's.

This week we had particpants from the following squads:

CVW-21
CVG-12
VC-81
VF-17
VMF-215
VFA-25
VF-29
TAW

Hopefully next week the VMF-223 & AG-51 guys can make it. Also we are trying to get new squads to participate so hope to see some new faces this coming week.
