Hello everybody!

I have been searching for blueprints for the original Bf-109E and I have discovered, that the designteam behind Il-2 BOB has used them for their version of the Bf-109E.

The blueprints I need are manufacturing blueprints, like the one's on this link:

The only one I could find was here http://aviationshoppe.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=90 (http://aviationshoppe.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=90) and it's not freeware.

RAF_Loke:

Thanks for the link, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I know it says, that it is a blueprint, but that doesn't mean, that it has to be blue http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

What i need look more like manufacturing blueprints, which are showed at the link I provided with my first entry http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Hope either Oleg or someone from the design team can help me out. Please do http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

S~!

Hey Fritz, I've been banging my head for the same reason as you for the past two years. I have found some thing that are interesting, but not as detailed as the plans that you said in your link. Have you got an email that I can contact you with? I can send them to you attached.

Have you tried contacting the Messerschmidtt Society? I know they're getting one of the new Stormbirds Me-262s. There might be a link on the Stormbird page.

The german Bundesarchiv in Koblenz has very likely this kind of stuff. You can get copies from them but it has to be paid. (have no idea about the prizes though)

KOM.Nausicaa:

Great drawings, but I allready have drawings that resemble those you linked to me pretty much. But thanks anyway http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

What I need is the actual production manufacturing drawings, that I know the team behind BOB are using to model their Bf-109E. They however do not seem to read these messages or are they just tired of the constant requests??

Hope to hear from them in the future. I could really use those manufacturing blueprints, pleeeeaaasssseeee http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Tell them if you can http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

Hello again

No one from the team seems to want to reply to my post.

I have done some research of my own and through a guy called Udo Hafner I've found out, that the original manufacturing Blueprints are owned by EADS (formerly known as Messerschmidt)

He estimates the price for the blueprints to be around 15 - 20.000 Euro. A "bit" to expensive for my taste.

Hope some one at 1c can give me a better price. Just hope to hear from them!! I've written a mail to their address but they don't seem to want to answer me...

btw Udo hafner has an awesome homepage at:

They are not going to give you or sell you the original 109 manufacturing blueprints, nor is this the appropiate place to ask (much less ask repeatedly). Sorry mate.

A.K.Davis:

Sorry if it is the wrong place to ask, but where else is appropriate??

Is this not the forum where one can ask Oleg questions regarding the Il-2 game??

Please direct me to the right forum

Thank you...

Best regards Henrik Frederiksen

On a side note, it is an extremely good insight into why Oleg simply cannot give all of his material away (everyone has asked for everything here already). Perhaps he did not have to pay 20000 Euro for those blueprints, but he obviously has a large investment into them (assumably both time and money).

It is not reasonable to ask people to give something, for nothing. Nor is it alwayse feasible (or profitable) to sell a product, even if there are a few 'requests' for it (a super-manual, if you will).

How is it that you interpret acquiring original 109 manufacturing blueprints for your own (unknown) personal use as a question about Il-2 the game?

You already answered your own question. They are licensed. Maddox Games cannot sell or give them to you.

Hi,
I am aftraid that A.K. is right. There could be legal issues with all this scenario. I mean i will ask...but somehow i am pretty sure of the answer lol.

Sorry if I have used the forum for something it wasn't meant for. Just thought it was the right place to ask...

Crazyivan1970 could you find out where the drawings were purchased and the price??

Thanks again
