I'll have to consider that before purchasing another ubisoft game. I have satillite and if it goes out momentarily this stupid game stops. All so we have to become a member of some crap.. So ubisoft can sell of our info to make a few extra bucks.. Are they stupid enough to think anyone actually puts thier real info in there to sign up.. You would have to be a fool to do that.. buy the time you finish answering all those questions they have enough of your personal info.. well they are 3/4 the way to taking a credit card out in your name. wakeup ubisoft everyone with a brain knows not to give thier correct info on that bull.. you'd be a fool if you do.. the people paying you so much money for our personal info is not doing it because the want to do nice things the info.. Its time to get back to producing games not scamming people with joining required useless internet bull crap.

Are you stupid enough to think you are the only one who ever posted a complaint about the DRM?

Go rant in one of the currently made threads please!

... owned. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif Anyways, what he meant to say was this has been posted a trillion times before. Use the search button to find the topic about the DRM and rant there. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

such an epic post, but you however missed it is illegal for anyone to sell any information from you without your permission allowing them to give it to third parties, if you are honestly stupid enough to believe a company as large as this would sell your information illegally, you really need to back to hiding under the stairs with your tin foil hat and you definitely should never use the internet.

any information any firm could ever want on you can be found through your internet connection, you can use proxies and other defences all you want but something as simple as the settings in browser can allow people to trace you online.

so the most comical part of this entire post is your are complaining about giving info when you computer leaves a fingerprint unique to your PC on every single site you visit.

if your afraid of giving info to companies that would be shut down and lose everything for sharing your info, I dont see why you are so willing to use the internet when every PC has a online profile that can be traced to every site it has used including allowing people to retrieve a lot more info than you need to sign up for a Ubi account.

As suggested we have a few DRM thread scattered about the forums, so if you wish to air your views on the subject, please use one of those..

As for 'becoming a member of some crap' - your not forced to join anything, if your already a member of the ubi.com site, since your using the forums, you are, you can just use the same account you use here http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Any details you enter are secure, and will never be 'sold on' - to anyone...

The fact you can use the same account as the forum one, should point out, that it's not being used to order any credit cards.. since some people do use fake details for those.. I would advise though that you do use a correct contact email, since Ubisoft may need to use that should you have problems with your account [and is also handy for the forums...]

Yes some people may have issues with internet connections, but support can help try and resolve those issues for them

Locking the thread, due to being a duplicate of ongoing threads.

Such as this one, amongst others. (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/5491047838)
