Forgive me if this has been asked and answered.....search function bla bla bla.......but when one chooses "three 1,000lb bombs" for this AC, only two are actually loaded aboard.
The ship will carry six 500 pounders no problem, so I don't think we are "weighting out".
Possible bug?

Oh and Oleg, while you are fixing this lttle bug, could you also maybe fix the P-47D22/ D27 loadout as well? The correct format would be two 1,000 lb bombs under the wings, and one 500 lb bomb under the belly.
Currently, this situation is reversed, such that the premier USAAF fighter-bomber of the war carries 500 pounds less ordnance than it should.
Fixxy fixxy ???

Thanks Oleg!

Thats alright, I'll see your 109 loadouts and panzerblitz 190s and raise you the missing bomb, rocket and slipper-tank loadouts for the Hurricane IIC, Spitfire VB, Spitfire VIII, Spitfire IX and the correct bomb loads for the P-47.

And lack of 1000lb bombs for the Beau, and lack of bombs on the fuselage for Beau. Also lacking 25lb rockets.

Fw-190A should be able to carry an SC1000.

Fw-190D should be able to carry bombs - at the very least SC500s should be available.

The lack of bombs for the Spitfire VIII is most concerning - that's got to rank alongside the issues with the Bf-109F...

Well, since we're on about loadouts, I figure I should mention something I saw in a recent book I was reading, which is an A-20 G being loaded out with rockets on the wings, instead of the 250 pounders. I don't think I ever saw rockets as an option, and I'd certainly love to have the rockets for anti AA duty while the bombs in the bay for slamming real ground targets.

Just a thought. But it does seem the A-20 did get rockets on the wings at some point.

Oops. I guess I need to start wearing my glasses when I'm attacking convoys from now on.
Oh well. Lots of good posts about loadouts in this thread anyway. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Don't have the picture to show (could scan it, but would need someone to host) but here's the caption of the pic

"On occasion, the A-20G/Hs with the Fifth Air Force had their heavy, forward-firing armament supplemented by two clusters of three rocket-launching tubes below each wing, as can be seen on this A-20G of the 90th Bombardment Squadron in New Guinea."

So 12 rockets.

This is probably why Oleg didn't put it in, upon further investigation. Take this as you desire (personally, I'd like the option, but whatever).

Some Fifth Air Force A-20s had their heavy forward-firing armament supplemented by clusters of three Bazooka-type rocket tubes underneath each wing. These tubes each held an M8, T-30 4.5-inch spin-stabilized rocket. These rocket launcher tubes turned out to be heavy and complicated, and were generally more trouble than they were worth and were not often used.

russians aprently fitted there own rockets to them http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

best loadout vs ships is the 3x 500 3x 250lb i think

The Russian's put rockets on? Well there you go!

A-20 NEEDS ROCKETS. If the Russians did it, then it has to be in there. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

B25's are missing a massive array of loadlouts....Not to mention the numbers of those it carries.

Me wish:

Droptank for the 190A-8.
Droptank & bombs for the Dora.
Rockets for the G-6.

BTW, A-20s got rockets in the SWPA but they were not liked an removed from the couple planes that tried them.

Also, the SWPA A-20Gs need to have the bottom gun removed, they never used them and put a kind o gun camera (20-25 high res images) in its place for BDA images.

I have a picture in a book of the rockets, they were the 4.5" "bazooka" type in tubes, the hardware that they attached with to the wing looked liked something that was invented in my neighbor's garage. No wonder they were retired.

They tried 4x20mm in the nose of a few A-20s, too.

Check the loadout of the Ai B24...it's pathetic.

And the H8K Emily has the wrong torpedos.

And the Ki 61 has bomb racks that should be removable...

and...

Yes, 16 500lb bombs. Not alot of variety there.

I thought the Ki-61 carried bombs in FB?

the racks where removed when not carrying them or droptanks

given the ki61's sluglike handling and performance, anything being taken away would be a big bonus..
