View Full Version : Pre-Patch / Patched Graphics

Last night I flew in a Quick Mission (after patching" and my ship was hit several times, when I F2'd outside to have a look the holes in my wing looked to be painted on a splat of black with silver struts..

Yet in the same mission (pre-patching) hits on my planes wings would result in holes that you could see right through and F2 outside and pan the camera all around the wing and you would see the sky of the sea/ground through the wing..

I have the same graphic settings as I did pre-patching is this part of the patch?

I get the "M.C. Escher bullet hole" in the glass where it looks like the wing actually comes into the cockpit!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif Doesn't bother me much though .

i am still getting tearing on the wildcat undercarriage bays, anyone know why?

Must admit the new battle damage visuals leave a bit to be desired,Think maybe they should have left well enough alone...

man...I am running this sim through an old FX5200 nvidia card and the new 3.01 run format looks great - I get perfect water=1 with about 20-25 FPS for trap practice...I was only getting 2 FPS before...

The rest of my rig was upgraded - but now I can wait a little longer for a new vid card...the last piece of my pricey puzzle.
