Barbarossa was a lot of fun; the only fly in that particular ointment is that all your wingmen will be Aces and your opponents will be mostly Rookies, so that the occasional enemy Ace will be a horrific shock.

Personally, I always downgrade my wingmen to no better than Average for most of this campaign, or else they just hang around me, waiting for me to expend a lot of ammo and effort on one or two victims, and then once I've damaged those targets, swoop in and claim the kill.

Does Barbarossa still works on il2 1946? I did heard lot of good words about this campaign...

One of my all time favourites was "Emil" but it is very old and I suspect it no longer works with 46
