I used to have the original IL2 - and the QMB in 1946 looks exactly like the one in that.

What QMB did "Pacific Fighters" have? Surely it had the ability to create a ship attack scenario in that arena? 1946 certainly doesn't.

Is there any way of easily setting up a ship scenario that I can use for practice divebombing?

Thanks

Barry

No they are different... and the 46 version has more maps. The Coral Sea map should help you out with a practice map with ships. The Crimea map also has ships.

You can setup a FMB map also... check out this link: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/9121094645

Welcome Aboard the IL-2 skies... and let us know how you are coming along.

Thanks for that - looks like I needed to do some more exploring. I can now see that , if you select the target as "airbase" in the Coral Sea map, it targets a ship

It takes a bit of learning for IL-2 with somethings... but it will come easy with a bit of playing around and help from the forum here.

Good Luck!

You might want to check out Uber Demon's great program also when you get the hang off IL-2. It has a lot of buildt in extras for mission building. And it comes with a step by step manuel.

The FMB isa a great tool but if you just want more vafiety and eiother dont have the time or patience to deal with it then I suggest you look at Mission Mate or the UQMG.. Links to both can be found in the Nugget's Guide.
