Hey guys - I've been playing a lot of the game recently - I'm getting better at takeoffs and landings and every once in awhile I actually shoot an enemy plane down. One big problem I'm having is learning to identify planes and remember their characteristics. I'm a visual learner and I was wondering if anyone in the community had made a poster or a printable document that shows (in profile) all of the planes in the game. I remember as a kid I learned the names of modern jets from a similar type of "poster" that my dad photocopied for me.

I do know about Hardball's Aircraft Viewer and I find it very helpful, however I'd like something on my wall by my computer.

Sorry if this is an off-the-wall question. I've been scouring the net and can't find anything and thought you guys might be able to help.

If there isn't anything like this out there, would anyone like to help me compile a poster for fellow IL2 players?

Thanks in advance for any input!

I use a very advanced identification method..

- If it's on your six, it's an 'enemy'.
- It's it's far away, get real close (100m) and ID it before you shoot.

Sloan,

I don't know of a reference poster, but try downloading this. It may be useful.

Not all planes from the game, but few.
