I have to say The Two Thrones.

I was at a game store at my hometown and saw it there. I was told that it was a great game so I bought it.

I didnt find out about Warrior Within until the first time I saw it on T.V. Then I waited a while to buy it.

For The Two Thrones I had been waiting since May. Just knowing about something great for months really got me exited.

The two thrones http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif I've kept away from spoilers and all that, so I don't know much about the game actually http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I had never heard of The Sands of Time until my dad bought it for me...and the reason I wasn't too excited about Warrior within was because I didn't find the story really interesting. Farah was gone, the prince had changed, and the music too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif And someone here on the forum spoiled the ending with a thread without spoilertags http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif So tehrefore I have to pick T2T http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Warrior within,i played it before SoT & preferred it because the fights wer more interesting. But both games were superb. As for T2T,i can't say anything about it until i've played it but the platform genre of the game looks better than ever in it(as i've seen in the videos).

EDIT: Read what u wrote again and i see that i made an error.I felt most excited about T2T.I've w8ed for it ever since i beat the Dahaka & when i first saw on a magazine that it was being developped,i had a strange glow in my eyes & felt really happy

The Two Thrones, cause I wasn't here, I mean on this forum when SOT and WW were released.
I just played SOT and WW after the release of WW.
I actually played SOT for the first time on my birtday.

Well I'd have to go with the Two Thrones but I am equally as excited to get my hands on TOMB RAIDER LEGEND, to be relesed FEB or MARCH 2006

I'm gonna wote for... T2T. Since that I did'n know about POP SOT, I bought POP SOT because my brother told me (and I thank him for that) and WW all of a sudden came out (again my brother was on a rampage :P) and I of course bought it. But after some time, I noticed in a store that POP 3 would come out, but it did'n tell when, so I googled POP 3 and found the home-page and saw the forum and became a member http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif So POPT2T was most exciting to wait for.

I was here pre POP:WW times, and I have to say it is a tie between POP:WW and POP:TTT.I was excited to play them both.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifI wanted to get my hands on both games. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gifI wanted to play them instantly.

bags for warrior withinhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif i thought it might have the same magical elements as in sot but sadly, when the bus passed me flashing with ww advert (can't really say 'flash' when the background's utterly dullhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif) i couldn't help feelin abit down. i'd thought my mom wouldn't buy it for my bday...in the end we got it played it and admittedly there are some elements that i like and weren't included in sot...but still....it'll be lovelier if it's abit more sot-ish.

12-07-2005, 04:17 PM
i say WW but i dont really know why but i do...well i guess the main reason is because i haven t played the new one yet and i doubt i will be playing it till after christmas... all well i guess i have to wait. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I have been here since I first heard about Sands of Time in 2003. I have to say I was most excited about Sands of Time, in a time when most games were either Halo stlye alien blasting, wacked out Japanese role playing, or World War II shooters, SOT offered something totally new. The reason I was really excited about SOT was because Jordan Mechner was leading the production, and I am huge Jordan Mechner fan ( I consider his underrated masterpeice The Last Express to be the greatest game ever made). Also I am huge fan of the 1001 Arabian Nights (more specifically Richard Burton's poetic translation) it was the perfect setting for a great game. I had high expectations for that game and it exceeded them all.
I was much less excited about Warrior Within, Mechner was out, Godsmack was in, and the graphics looked like they were a giant step backwards from Sands of Time. Warrior Within was a decent game, but the magic and lyrical beauty of Sands of Time had been replaced with a dark, nasty, angry, mess of modern unpleasentness. What had happened to the Prince I knew and loved? Then Two Thrones was announced, I had fairly low expectations. But then I saw the Two Thrones E3 Trailer and was amazed! They had put everything I wanted into the game! In all the "What do you want to see in POP 3?" threads, I said they should let you traverse the rooftops of a city, and that's how it turned out. I also said they should let you ride a horse, and they ended up letting you ride a chariot! And I (unlike some people) was thrilled to hear that Yuri Lowenthal was returning as the Prince. I commend Ubi for actually listening to what the vast majority of fans and members of the gaming press had liked and disliked about both games. I have a large amount of respect for Ubisoft they take on projects more commercial mainstream publishers (I am talking to you EA) would never publish. They seem to actually care about artistic merit and not just fiscal gain. Thanks Ubi!

Two thrones.

It made me pretty excited and I must have seen all the trailers and development diaries.

12-08-2005, 02:27 AM
I was most excited about The Two Thrones, of course... I only heard of WW when it was released. I played WW first. Because I wasn't very fond of the original Prince games, I didn't pay any attention to SOT. I read a review of WW and I just had to have the game. It was love at first sight for me. After that I got SOT, and to be honnest it was a bit disapointing for me. Cuz I loved the dark feel WW had. Plus the music and the cinematics. It had drama and a cute Prince. To me SOT was not as mature as WW. SOT is good, but it is as taking a step back. Everything seemed so clumsy all of the sudden, the whole gameplay and how the Prince looked...

Then came TTT!!!
Unfortunately it didn't grab me as WW had... But I learned to love it while playing.

12-08-2005, 04:01 AM
Well, i think it was TTT since SoT just suddenly was there and being a pc gamer i wasn't aware it would be coming out on the pc as well, since most information was for the consoles that time.

WW took me by storm. I only saw some cinematics before the game came in stores. This was my favourite game of the two and i really wanted another one after this.

Then the long wait for TTT began and i kept wondering if it would be available for pc (it always remains unsure if publisher decides to continue a good franchise on pc because of piracy and perhaps low sales). After reading about a possible darkprince and te atmosphere in the trailers i really got excited for this one.

TTT, I spend so much time finding new stuff of this game. I played SOT and WW before and was so curious about TTT. I wasn´t here on the forums when SOT and WW released, so that counts a little too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

12-08-2005, 07:15 AM
A short word:
T2T http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I will get it in 1 hour http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

12-08-2005, 07:31 AM
I was more excited for WW, because of the Cinematics, which were released before the game. Those were totally coolhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
But they had nothing to do with the game.
I think WW is the worst of all three after allhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
I was a bit disappointedhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

12-08-2005, 11:06 AM
Well i havent got T2T yet!!!!!!!!
So until now the most beatiful game in the world is POP SOT!!!!!!!!!(i liked it more than WW) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

12-08-2005, 11:39 AM
The Two Thrones by far. It was the only game I know of that had me physicly jump out of class to get it. When I say jump, I mean I leapt from my chair and practilcy ran back home. Man I love that game.

12-08-2005, 11:46 AM
The POP game that I was most excited about before release was: €œThe Two Thrones."

I remember when SOT came out; I actually didn€t care too much for it. Then the Reviews started showing up and I thought to myself: €œWell it sure must be a pretty good game then.€

I remember playing and trying it out once in an electronic store, I actually didn€t like it so much, mainly due to the fact that I wasn€t able to play it properly because the screen was way too dark for some reason, it was hard to see anything. So I left kind of disappointed.

One morning, while I made myself ready to go to school, I listened to the Radio, they had a segment called: €œTop must have Video Games for the Holidays€.
Surprise, surprise SOT was on that list.

When I heard that, I told myself: €œOK, that€s it. I will get this game for Christmas. With so many great Reviews it can€t be bad€ ...that€s what I said, but I not only said it to myself but also to my Sister as well who was standing next to me.
So on the following day I went to Best Buy and bought it for 39.99. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
