If the Mrs wants to know what you want for Xmas (Not that, you smutty boy! Go to the back of the class!) then try this site:

http://www.warbirdrelics.com/index.htm

They have everything from a Mig 21 for $32,000 to K14 reflector sites and gun turrets.

I quite fancy the Huey as a simulator base for "Whirlwind of Vietnam" when it comes out.

Right, I'm off to tell the Mrs how lovely she looks today! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have been looking for a site like this for years. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou...

Okay, say I wanted to snag an old altimeter and gyrocompass, and hook them up in my car (I have a '92 Jeep Cherokee). What kind of electrical leads and whatnot would I need?

Hmm... on that warbird relics site they're selling F4U and F6F fuel gauges for $65.00. I have a variometer from some Yak fighter aircraft. Any idea how valuable that would be? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Hi,

Ive been collecting Luftwaffe instruments for a couple of years. So Ive been around a few websites selling that kind of stuff. I havent seen anywhere near as much Russian gear about as there is from other countries. A lot of the Russian parts that are seen are post-war.

I reckon $60-$80 for a WWII Yak variometer is about right, but add another $20 just coz Ive never actually found one.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Wives always know what their husbands want for Xmas, it's only that they don't usually like what their husbands want. So they give them ties and so.

You can't always get what you want
