Hi all http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, been looking around for a good stick within my budget and trust me, I would love to have a CH HOTAS setup but unfortunatly my soon to be wife is having issues with the CH pricetags http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/51.gif...I don't get it, she spends god knows how much on cosmetics and clothes, i guess thats the price you pay for a woman http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif...anyway, i've heard good reviews and praises about the MSFFB2 stick and have seen a decent amount on ebay from $75.00-150.00, the $150 being new of course, but is $75-100 a good deal to be used??thanks much http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Kinda like buying a used car. Depends on how hard and how much it was driven.

I have my second MSFF2, and if I was in "need" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, I'd buy a new one for 150.

right on fellas! ty for your suggestions, i'll probably go for a new one but if i find a rarely used one then i'll snagg it...then eventually a throttle http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

main reason for the FFB is that a lot of people say that there's nothing like feeling every part of your plane and how it's effected (hole in wing, etc.) SOLD me on it! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Most definitely worth it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Great for immersion- I'm one of those who bought a "spare" for when my first one kicks the bucket.

I got lucky, about a year ago i saw one at "buy it now" for 38 on ebay, one of the best bargains i've ever had. They are about 90 new.

Can't imagine flying without ffb now.

Kandiru, what sort of places do neurosurgeons hang out these days. I was keen on getting one of those myself.

I payed 79 US for my MSFFB2 stick over a year ago. anything more than 50 for a used stick would be a rip off.

Even still man, 150 for a new One? That is crazy. These sticks were never more than 99 in a store brand new. Mine was brand new by the way, I got it at best buy!

If you do get one, remember they have NO waranty now and no support.

Good luck!

I just purchased a MSFFB2 from ebay for $75
as a backup. My first MSFFB2 is starting to act up
after four abusive years of use. If your used to
the MS stick thier is no substitute. I tried
the ThrustMaster FFB for a week. YUK! Thats why
you cant get a new MS stick for under $150 on ebay.
The used stick I bought is in Like new condition.
( I got Lucky ) It could have been a beater.
Thats the chance you take on Ebay or pay $150.
