i have 2 options in mind

1) Fighterstick USB, Pro Pedals USB, Pro Throttle USB

2)Fighterstick USB, Pro Pedals USB, Throttle Quadrant USB.

wich of the 2 would be best 2 play IL2/PF with and offcourse other games.(like mechwarrior, Klingon academy, CF3 and sometimes some FS2004)

If you dont have TRACK-IR i recommend first option. You will have microstick for mouse enmulation that way.

I have Prothrottle + Combatstick + pedals(gameport).
That is all you need in FB, atleast for me.

Maybe later i will get throtte quadrant too.

If you dont have TrackIR, go with the Fighterstick, Pro Pedals and TIR 3 Pro. You can get the pedals later...unless of course, money isn't an object. In that case get the first option AND TrackIR. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Without a doubt go with the first option. I have that setup and it's all you need for air
combat. The throttle quadrant would be ideal for FS2004 but it would be cumbersome for use
in combat. The Pro Throttle is the perfect companion to the Fighterstick.

S!,
The first option is your best bet. You'll have more options than you'll know what to do with. And you're right about TIR, some people swear by it, but you don't really need it since the mini-stick on the pro throttle gives you the same ability to pan as TIR.

BenvZijl, if you're gonna do without TIR, I recommend the Pro Throttle, and setting the POV hat on the stick for extra buttons, because it's hard to manipulate as a POV while maneuvering. I use it for elevator & rudder trim for most cases. Use the POV hat on the throttle for looking around instead, and use the 'pinkie' buttons (default throttle buttons 3 & 4) on the throttle for Look Up and Look down. Used with the POV hat, this will give you maximum visual coverage in Snap View.

I have had good success with the CH Manager software, using it to create single controller profiles with 6 axes and 30 buttons plus a POV hat. I use a Combatstick myself, but the principal is generally the same.

Just got TIR3 last weekend, and it takes some getting used to in a furball, although it's quite nice in normal flight. I'm still working out the bugs with it, and tend to pause it and use the Snap Views while shooting, at least.

cheers
