We discuss everything including SH3 and many other uber whiners subjects , but we just don't enjoy what we have.
Go back 20 years to when River Raid was king on Atari and you will appreciate what we have.
The patch will come, just after St Kilda's next premiership and being a supporter I hope it is soon.
Go Aussies

Get well Oleg.

I'm so busy at my studies, that I don't really have the time to think about it (hardly time for writing this too)
I guess when my project is finished a week from now, I'll be a little bored, but then again it'll be a long time since I last played PF by then http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'm not bored. I've still got my Eastern front!

And Also I switch between SHIII, RO, and IL2, so I've got a good game series with me, sea, land, and air.

Well - I got involved in an on-line war ...

... much more interesting than waiting for a patch.

Oddly enough, I think that the patch might be diruptive, having to learn new flight models in the middle of a war .. Arrrrruggggghhhh http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Waiting? The sun's shining, beer is cold, airshows all around!

Who needs a patch anyway? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Simming is more of a winter hobby for me...

Not for me mate ! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've just finally gotten into flying Fullreal and joined CzechWars.

It's a whole 'nother world.

Amazing game really - I've been flying it ( not often enough ) since IL2 original and I'm still on the learning curve and loving it ! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I'm going fishing!

The bass are biting, the weather is warm and the sun is shining.

Somewhere in the world it is almost Saturday and another week is about to slip by patchless. I've been biting my tounge...as I am an impatient sort but I find that when I have to wait like this there is soooo much anticipation that the actual patch becomes sort of anticlimatic...i'm really trying hard to avoid that.

I fly online, therefore I am not boring at all.

I don't understand why people don't fly before the patch is out. Sure the patch bring big changes, you need to unlearn some old habit and learn something new instead, but so what? It is a game and a game is for fun, if you keep yourself from making fun, in order to have an edge after the patch is released, you are taking this game too seriously, and wrongly as well. And I really think your edge will only last for one or two weeks after the release.

And some people stay offline, to practice with the leaked patch. haha, I wonder what will happen if they find some huge differences between the leaked and the official one, haha http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Patch will be good and all that but live for the moment. Nothing else to do!

You think it's boring now. At least there's anxiety in the air. Wait 'til after the patch... and months after that.

I'm having more fun in the Hyperlobby than I ever have before... and when I start getting bored I suppose I'll paint some skins or make a movie. There's no end to the entertainment this sim provides as far as I'm concerned.

Frustrated or bored?

Oh now! I just reinstalled the SH III and installed the patch 1.3. I allso make missions like Ice-Fire and then, there is one thing that I can recommend to everyone:

1) Make a mission with 5-6 balloons along the airfield on opposite sides of the airstrip. Choose the balloons in 60 meters altitude. Put one or two cameras there as well.

2) Make several versions of the same mission using different "crapplanes".

3) Fly the missions so, that right after take off you turn hard to go around the first balloon, then around the next etc...

4) After having passed all the balloons turn as hard as you can and fly straught back trying to shoot all the balls on one pass. After the pass, make a hard turn and land safely.

5) Make a track of every flight and watch your achievements.

I have done this with:
- Fiat G-50
- Fiat "the biplane" (Don´t remember the correct name)
- Finnish Brewster
- Chaika
- Rata
- Gladiator (J8A)
- Hurricane MK I
- LaGG-3

It is fun!

Im too busy redoing the origional il2 cmpns for fb-pf, so Im pretty busy. we really do have plenty to make do with.....Im gonna be even more busy when I redo those lousy pearl harbor misns in PF using some more appropriate ships from FB (king georg V BBs at pearl, F2As in the air, gimme a break).

Great stuff in this.....I actually would rather have an addon cd like AEP, with some ships.

Maybe if it takes long enough, we will get more of the stuff that wasnt quite finished yet, like hte SM79 and the machi 200, so we can make malta cmpns etc.Wouldnt mind paying for this on an adon myself. but there is still enough cmpns out there that are well done (like Bird brns) to stay busy. You can be even busier sifting out the cmpns/misns where the author apparently never test flew them....lots of those to. HEy, you can spend time fixing those, like Ive been doing.

I DO have something new each week - there's still about 50 planes I've never flown so far ( or only once ). Plenty new to do. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Any time I get bored I just take the Baron up and burn hundreds of dollars of avgas and go 200 kts to nowhere special. Computer flying pales by comparison. Besides, get real, the "patch" is probably vaporware by now anyway.

I like to sing, never any shortage of things to do. Sometimes, I take either an He-111 or TB-3, and I fly across the entire Leningrad map when I'm really depressed. It helps.

My cure for depression is Disc Golf and Beer. After two rounds walking in the sun, I'm too buzzed and too tired to care.
