USA fighter jocks, I'm wondering if you can help me.

This is in an F-86 and I think it's some kind of a fuel gauge. I can't quite tell what it says, and can't find any more pics of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that an American, Australian or Canadair Sabre?

I've done all I can to improve the image quality, and the top word is-"Gallons" and the second "Fuel" and I think the third is-"Remaining".

I don't have a wicked photo program.so,I may be wrong.

It's an early A version, I understand.

That probably is it, gallons fuel remaining, with a digital counter half obscured by shadow.

Thanks for the help!
