I tried to find a Pacific Ocean map so I could mark all the PF maps on it, but could not find one, maybe someone else has a good map.

This is an interesting topic. I didn't know the forums would do this. It's very confusing trying to reply!

Try going to your local bookstore to find a map of the Pacific Ocean. Or, if they don't have one, try your local High School. They might be able to get you one for a reasonable price.

What's "Guadalcanal Early" look like? Fewer airfields?

In general, is it possible for the devs to release a "blank" version of some of the maps with towns, but no airfields?

(sometimes they look too built up, it's fun to make your own instead in the FMB)

How the heck do you make airfields? buildings can be done, but how do you do runways???

Well, you can have planes take off from whatever direction they happen to be pointing. You need a large flat area, but if there was an airfield there on the map, they must have made the flat spot anyway. There are some Il-2 missions where the mission builder made a grass field out in the middle of nowhere, and the planes take off in parallel. Pretty cool looking.
