Sorry, not aviation related but I thought my friends here might find this of interest.

Either the guy is a total dumb@ss or has the biggest b@lls of steel or both:

http://dailymotion.alice.it/video/xjbfz_nage-avec-le-grand-blanc

I have personally seen a 10' Hammerhead go from swimming leisurely about like in those videos to an instantaneous 20+ mph burst and chase down and and kill and eat a large 70+/- lb tarpon in 6 feet of water. I was in my boat at the time down in the Dry Tortugas in the Florida keys. The tarpon was NOT hooked or in anyway injured, the shark simply saw it and decided it was time for breakfast. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

If this guy keeps doing this it is only a matter of time before one of those Whites decides to attack him. That spear gun and little spike might as well be toothpicks for all they can do to stop a large white shark....

Pretty brain dead stuff... a wild animal is never entirely predictable. Wasn't a big cat zookeeper recently mauled to death in the States because she decided to go inside the cage with them?

The sad thing is the animal gets the short end of the stick with the press and general public when these types of things happen... and the animal was only doing what it's supposed to do.

The man in the grey suit will eventually have his arm or leg...IF he's lucky.

That guy will only do that so many times before the law of averages catches up with him!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Why doesn't he get a safer hobby such as crossing mine fields on a pogo stick - or testing munitions for duds with a sledge hammer!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

My ex-girlfriend wants to swim with sharks. Her mother wants to swim with dolphins.
I wish it was the other way around.
