In the QMB Skin yes, squad no. JV44 isn't on the list.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Capt Eric Brown says: "I found in general the default joystick settings tended to be oversensitive. With my recommended settings it will give people a real feeling of how they actually flew."

Another Ta152 C-1 bug is maximum speed at sea level.

In game we have - 635 km/h
IRL - 570 km/h

And the D-9 would be 50km/h faster then? Ah, I forgot, it doesn't reach it's 621km/h...

Which exactly Ta152C do we have in game? C-1?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I also have this chart, it has 3 Ta-152 with different engines. 570 -&gt; 1,4/1,5ata, not full power. Is like 110% without MW-50 boost.

Kwiatos

Nope i have another one with only 2 Ta152 C and H

Ta 152 C-1 1,75 Ata- 570 km/h sea level
---------------------------------------- &gt; Start und Notleistg.
Ta 152 H-1 1,92 Ata - 580 km/h sea level

If some have ftp i could send these chart for publicate

Kwiatos, you should head over to Focke Wulf consortium on CWOS if you haven't already. Not sure if they have this stuff but they might...I did see a chart there that might be the same as yours given the data.

So in theory the D-9 should be faster on the deck than both Ta-152C and Ta-152H?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The Ta152C should definitely be at least as fast as the Dora on the Deck. It has a more powerful engine (DB603E or LA) with 2300PS at takeoff and due to its more aerodynamic lining and the use of the "zellenfeste Triebwerksverkleidung" it should have less drag than a 190D.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I agree.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But,when following the IceFire link,it seems the Ta152C-1 was as fast as an Anton-9 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

http://pages.sbcglobal.net/mdegnan/_images/Fw190A8_A9vsTa%20152speed.jpg

Did the 1,75 ata @ 2700rpm indicated on the chart match with the real max performance of the Ta152C-1's DB603LA? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

And what means the "A" in this denomination DB603LA? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

And moreover,i would like charts about the climbing ability of the Ta152C...If someone has this, please share! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

ps:

The cleanness of this chart seems quite doubtful to my eyes.Never seen such a preserved 65 years old docu-ment... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Online yesterday I flew it for the 1st time, I shot down a new butterfly tailed 262 and 2 x the new He 162 Ds then stayed and furballed with a Ta 152 C and Me 262 when I had no ammo just because I felt confident in being able to out manuver them completely.

For a laugh I was dogfighting with the Jet set at 0% and the Piston engine at 100% - even then it had ample power. Its like an I-16 that can reach 800 km/h in a shallow dive.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I think it feels like a lighter and more hype mustang. Its a 1946 model, so obciously the engine is much better than what soviets had during the war, its judt a great combination of speed, acceleration, turning and the gunnery is quite enough.
Don`t be confused by the "i" prefix, its like the american "p" just that its pursuit, and "i" is "istrebitel" which means fighter. Since it was a MiG design, Polikarpov had nothing to do with it.
The only lame thing about it is when both engines run, you hear the jet only. Also, its not realistic that it can be separately throtteled - it was a motorjet, a compressor and an afterburner, so they couldn`t just increase the mixture without flameouts or overheating.

Try the bi-6, equally fun, will go supersonic in a gentle dive from 15000 meters and up.

if we can trust il2compare the La-7R and Yak-3R are even better than the I-250...............

The I-250 has no lineage to the I-16 I understand that. I was implying its handling is exactly the same with no neg G cut out of course but the Turn Circle and roll are very similar. I got the feeling of flying an I-16 vs a Bf 109 F4 or something.

I wont go near the La7 thanks very much. How much help do those noobs need! Not content with having by far the best fighter below 4000m in the game they have now got one hat can run down anything and exceed its own break up speed in a shallow climb lol!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

You forget its something like 20% heavier than the Dora. I belive its also geared for high altitude flight.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
