Will the view control in BoB directly translate to the pilots head moving around? What I mean to say is that if you are flying with a group or even just your wingman will you be able to see which direction he is looking in by looking at his head? If he is looking to the right will his (or even yours if you are flying online with your squadron mates) pan to the same direction? I have been thinking about this for a while. Would that be something easy to program into BoB? Think about how much of an immersion booster that would be to actually be able to see the other pilots looking around and they would be able to see you looking around. Maybe even looking back at them. Imagine in a dogfight there are planes all around and you are coming up on an enemy fighter and the pilot is looking at something else and you can see that he is not looking your way at that moment and then you come in for the kill and then all of a sudden he looks straight at you coming he and he knows its all over. While we are at it we should find a way to put changing facial expressions on the pilots as well so when you do come in for the kill the pilot you are ready to shoot down get eyes as big as baseballs!!!!!

I do know that pilot heads (both AI and human) rotate to track the specific plane they are engaged with. However, I don't think that it specifically tracks the actual view position of your virtual pilot like LOMAC does. Besides, what kind of monitor/resolution do you think you'll be playing at to be able to see those things?! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

I run at 1,600 x 1,200 on a 22" CRT but that is enough to see what another pilot is doing when you get close. It doesn't seem that hard to program this in and it really would add a lot to the sim.

Heheheh I experienced that in MP Typhoon Rising. It was actually very funny to see that some guy sitting with me in da helicopter lokked with who is he flying http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Would be fun to implement actual pilot head movments at least.
