Doing some work in a video store and saw it on display.
Thought it said made in 1942.

Oh Yes that is the movie.

this looks like a film that went under a differnet name, irc its was called The First of the Few here in the UK.

Isn't this the movie about the guy that designed the Spitfire? Supposedly. I remember this from long ago. As a child I found it wonderful. Now as to it being anywhere near historically accurate............dunno. Leslie Howard was a great actor though and as I remember he played the part quite well. It had some action scenes but as I said I was young so their authenticity I can't vouch for. At that time they could have been models and I would have loved it.

yes it was and yes it is if it is indeed the first of the few.... I enjoy these old black and white films and it is a good story following the life of mitchell up to producing the spit.............well i do enjoy them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and it is a good story
