Is the bf110 and mosquito considered skip bombers because there are no bomb bay doors, is this the way to bomb with these planes. I ask because it is difficult estimating were the enemy is located under your plane so i would think the best approach to bomb is by skip bombing in them, is this correct or not. Also i think maybe you dive bomb with them, any advice would be great, thanks all.

Anything able to move at more than 200 mph with a bombload should be able to skip bomb, whether it has a bomb bay or not.

The Mosquito was going to be the weapon of choice for dropping the spinning, sphere-shaped bomb that Wallis perfected after the bouncing bomb.

He111H-2 with internal bombload cant skipbomb so far i remember - because of their instalation in the bombroom.

Exception noted. Those bombs are pointing straight down, IIRC.

The 110 was originally supposed to be a twin engine fighter. It lacked the speed and manouverability and needed a fighter escort for protection. It excelled as a ground attack plane though. The He111 had a signature bomb drop, bombs wobbled because they left tail first.

Yep, this also nerfed their accuracy somewhat - the Italian bombers used in the Med (three engined job, can't remember the model) suffered from similar accuracy problems WITH THEIR VERTICAL STOWAGE but OTOH were used very effectively as TORPEDO BOMBERS afaik

*EDIT* I was referring of course to the Savoia-Marchetti SM.79
