I made two skins for the TBM that flew with VT-83.
Do you prefer solid color or tri color?

Please vote for the scheme you prefer regardless of the quality of the skinning technique. SO far I understand that you guys prefer ti-color over solid. Maybe I should have asked the question different...lol

Thanks for the votes.

I think the solid color would look good if you weathered it. It looks too clean.

They both look nice, but deffinitly the dark blue one, if you dirty that thing up!

My pref fer skin choice is extra crispy as opposed to original recipe!!

Upon looking @ them more carefully it seems you have a "factory fresh" one with a highly worn walk strip and on the "Scratch 'N' Dent" model the walk strips are brand new!! Could'ja maybe switch 'em?? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I always loved the tri color schemes myself, but as long as we eventually get to fly the plane im cool with any of them

If they're both historical, why not both? I men, you've already done them.

If you're asking which I like better, I'm not sure, though the mono skin could definintely do with weathering.

Also perhaps tone down the shadowing on the conopy/turret ribs; looks a bit too dark there.

Three-Color > Dark Blue

much prefer the tri-colour schemes, the full dark blue ones are aren't as appealing, though since both are historical http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif to both.
