"in Windows Explorer, navigate to your sim installation directory, delete the existing il2_corep4.dll, make a copy of the il2_core.dll, and rename the copy to il2_corep4.dll"

I could use a little help with these instructions. I didn't have any trouble following similar instructions for 4.02m, but the way this is worded is a little vexing. I assume:

1) delete existing 1l2_corep4.dll--the one already in the game.

2) make a copy of the il2_core.dll--the one in the game already, not the one that came with the new patch.

3) rename the copy to il2_corep4.dll--the copy I just made of the in-game patch.

What's vexing, if I am assuming things correctly, is that all I am doing besides deleteing the old corep4.dll is renaming the old "regular" il2.dll to a new name. Why not take the new corep4.dll and put it in the game?? Now, admittedly, I don't have the foggiest notion what a dll is, let alone what one does, but that isn't stopping from figuring that this is all just a little counter-intuitive. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

But anyway, do I assume correctly here? Thanks one and all who can steer me in the right direction. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
