Oh you must be kidding! I just looked at the New Burma map and discovered that it does not include Rangoon. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Im sure you have seen already but if not its worth mentioning..
Im not sure how well it meets your needs but
there is a campaign for the Flying Tigers called "when tigers could fly".
It is tons of fun, and well worth the download.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The updated version of "When Tigers Could Fly", now called "White Sun, Blue Sky" is currently being tweaked for final release by BBB462 (formerly known as Chuck_Older).

It is very detailed and immersive and will be worth waiting for.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Zekes vs. Wildcats should have two missions featuring the Ki-27 after they up-grade to 4.071 this weekend.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

With the release of 4.07, WSBS has gotten delayed a bit. The new planes do a few things I hadn't planned for. I've been playtesting all week except for Monday and Thursday (Christmas of course, and then a wake). I had hoped I could just swap the Ki 21 and Ki 27 in and that would be that, but some odd things have happened. Kind of minor, but things like the spacing between flights for the Ki 21 have to be changed, or they crash into each other, or else swerve off the flight path I've set, orbit, and then resume. Plays hell with one mission in particular. I also spotted a bunch of skin errors in which planes and/or pilots had no skins...

Be very sure to learn how to fight Ki 27s is my advice in WSBS. You can get away with a bit of a dogfight against a Ki 43, not so much with the Ki 27 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hopefully this weekend I can finish up the bulk of WSBS, if I can get a six or seven hour stretch of uninterrupted FMB time

There's a thread over at M4T under 'campaigns in development' about WSBS. Not much on it lately as I've been doing more testing than mission building.

Obelix also did an AVG campaign, try Check-six for info<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yeah, the biggest problem is likely to be the damn AI, not the players as much. I flew some BnZ runs against Sallys escorted by Nates (nates started high, maybe a klick behind and above ki-21s). The nates obviously attacks, but the other hawks in the flight ended up in #@$!$#@! dogfights with the nates down over the jungle. I had to ignore their cries for help, lest I end up co-E with a sentai of swirling nates.

Sounds familiar...I've been experimenting with having AI flights of Hawks target bombers specifically at waypoints, but it's a clumsy solution<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

462,

Apparently there are some DM problems regarding igniting wing fuel tanks on all aircraft in the latest version. I would not be too concerned about damage done just yet.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yeah, I read that yesterday. I think you're right

Saving grace is that a proper attack versus Ki 21s renders you almost immune to attack. Now If I could just hit the cockpit regularly...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Oddly, regarding the possible DM issue, I've found that the wing space inboard of the engines is rediculously easy to set ablaze, and I don't get fire elsewhere. It's funny I can set an H8K on fire faster with a Nate than with an F4F.
