I've seen in several threads the use of the Kamikaze track ( I presume kamikaze02.ntrk ? ) as a test track to see the performance of the new.exe. Can you post the numbers you're getting with the Kamikaze track for comparison purposes ? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes, This is the track I use now. I start recording fps at :05 and end at 2:30.

Here is my fraps log:

2004-11-18 18:07:02 - il2fb+pf (4.11 Cats/4xAA/No aniso/PERFECT) [9500/9700 FB settings + S3TC/Trilinear/no polygon stipple/no dither]
Frames: 5332 - Time: 145016ms - Avg: 36.768 - Min: 13 - Max: 116
[WATER=1/FORCESHADERS1X=0/EFFECTS=1/MED CLOUDS/LANDSCAPE LIGHTING=HIGH]

I get no change with new.exe.

I tried pretty much every setting possible last night Coastie and as it turned out... default 9600/9700/....x800 one was the fasted and most stable, so i left it at that. That`s where, from my experiances, new exe really makes difference. If i tried anything custom it was the same or worse then old exe.

Couldn`t get it to work correctly with 4.12s... so rolled back to 4.11 and never looked back http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Took me a minute on that one. At first I thought you were trying to say you went from 22fps to 120fps just by switching to the new .exe!

I noticed little difference on my machine, a couple of fps at best. Then again, I'm currently CPU limited like nobody's business, so I figured that could have been part of it.

My machine is brought to its knees (less than 10 FPS) with that track regardless of exe.

I still use the Blackdeath.ntrk, gives me a better indication of how well FB/PF runs.
