Where is this museum?

Nice shots, BTW. Pretty well engineered aircraft, considering the situation the Germans were in while developing her. It would have been interesting to see how things would have turned out tactically had the 335 been delivered in numbers.

So it goes for so many other examples of late-war tech for the Germans...

That DO-335 is in the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution.

That's the Smithsonian's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy center, at Washington-Dulles Airport. See the Ar-234 and He-219 in the background? It has plenty of goodies like these that you won't see anywhere else.

Nice pics! The last time I saw pics of that 219 she was snug up against the Enola Gay in the storage facility. I heard they were going to put her back together and I see they're getting there. Sweet!....

The really scary thing is, you just know that out there somewhere, someone is going to use those photos to super detail a Do335 in 1/72 scale.

Whilst it isn't a "super detail" job here is the DML 1/72 Do-335 I built 8 years ago!

If you like Luftwaffe aircraft check out some more of my models at
