A final 4.08 patch then the series is over. Then Oleg's team goes completely to Storm of War (they are mostly working on it right now except for a couple of guys apparently) and Luthier's team goes to work on an untitled, unnamed, Storm of War based simulator that probably has to do with Korea.

Thats it in a nutshell.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Hitman. It's a devious ubi-soft tie-in that has been years in the planning. You know it makes sense...

I know I'm not the only one who wishes for this but, THERE ARE STILL MANY MORE PLANES TO BE ADDED TO THE GAME! Hopefully a third party will pick this up and and we won't have too long to wait. Oh I know, let's flood the forums with WW II plane sets that actually participated in the War so they can't ignore us! Calm down thread monitors, just sort of kidding. No I'm not instigating a riot.

I believe SaQsOn put it well in another thread...goes something like

But that just means that you'll have models on your computer, not that they will ever be in the game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The deadline for IL-2 submissions passed a long time ago, and I don't think any more will be accepted unless for a highly demanded, commercially viable add-on that does not conflict with a Storm of War project. But if you're going to put together an add-on proposal IL-2 you might as well do it for SoW instead.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The same thing that comes after every add on Pinky...

A whole lot of whining and crying about this plane, that plane.. why doesnt my X do Z, why didnt you include this plane or that plane and lots of charts, tables and ultimatums from people who wont go anywhere and continue to just bitc#... since this is a paid add on and NOT a free patch, cries of "this copy protection @#!%*! etc. etc. etc.....<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
