Maybe this was posted before, so please dont flame me. I just have fount this: cam2pan from http://www.mousevision.com/game/index.htm and freelook from http://freelook.org/ and test it, i must say i have a Creative NX PRO, till now i`m quite pleased by freelook but i can't campare it to TRACK IR, cause i can't afford it.
Can someone with TRACK IR experience test this little progs and tell the diference.
Till now i'm happy with the performance of freelook, but i have to get used to it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'm using the same programs instead of TrackIR..

works fairly well but not as easy sometimes..
still it's a pretty good substitute for a trackIr system i think http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I tend to use it in combination with Newview and Joy2key so i can easily reset the views in case the cam hangs or something (a nasty habit which happens sometimes)

Still it's good stuff and cheap too !! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I am using Cam2Pan in combination with NewView for more than a year. It works great in FB and in LockOn. It need some fine tuning but it worth the effort.
The only problem with Cam2Pan and I assume with other similar programs is connected to web-cameras. It will not work the same for all models and for Cam2Pan it looks that prefers cheap models.
