http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I was just looking at my X45 and tentatively wondering at modifying my profile editor as i havent had the ailerons or rudder trim mapped but feel it may be necessary since the patch.
I was surprised to see on saiteks site that il2 and F/B P/F isn't even listed as one of the games with a profile. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
Is the F/B series not a large enough genre to warrant a site? http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/x45pro.htm
I am rapidly running out of buttons to use LOL and was going to look into modes and aux buttons.

You can still program the X45. The software is a little counter-intuitive, though. I spent about 2 hours figuring it out

Back when I first wrote my profile, I submitted it to the Saitek site, but I don't believe they ever posted it. No idea why, it's not like there is no one searching. My webpage has had more than 22,000 hits, more than half of them searching for "IL2 X45 profiles".

i had the X45 earlier and found the programming to be quite easy, thou i probably spent more time than you setting it up. imo it's childs play compared to the programming of the Hotas Cougar, which i use now. it's so complex that i haven't even bothered to learn it :/

fortunately it has so many buttons that simple button assigning in the controls section is adequate for me. besides, setting up buttons for "everything" on the stick is pointless for me, as by the time i need to use bomber specific contols for example, i have forgotten which buttons do what. it's just a matter of personal preferance.

the x45 is a nice stick, but it was too small for my oversized hands http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
