So many of us are from other nations or regions of these nations and it is a bit interesting to get to know how each of us does things differently.

So.. What do you normally have for breakfast?
and where are you?

I live in the USA in the state of Minnesota.
I often skip breakfast, but when I take the time, I either have a quick cereal with milk like "Raisin Bran" (branflakes with raisins), "Cheerios" (little Oat Bran rings) and on weekends, fried or scrambled eggs with sausage and or bacon.
(It was Post Raisin Bran this morning)

On school days it's a bowl of oatmeal for me. I usually eat it in the car after I've parked.

I'm from Michigan in the USA, btw.

Cherios before uni.

5 multi-vitamins, and enough sugar to keep a growing lad going till dinner time.

Fried rice with corned beef or fried banana or chicken porridge. Sometimes bread with chocolate chips or pancake, etc.

But actually it depends on the mood of the day (and mostly on what's available on the table http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

At home 2 eggs over easy 2 strips of bacon, hashbrowns a slice of toast, to sop up the eggs.

Or I skip it entirely.

Onway to work I get the Hardee's special two Biscuits for 2 bucks. This month its the loaded Omelette biscuit.

About eight toasts with chocolate or strawberry cream(is that correct word for it?)with four sandwishes with cheese or ham or....just a plain bowl of cereal with milk. Those are eaten in Sweden, early in the morning.

I blend the following on high and pour into a cup:

Oatmeal, Bannana, left over Pizza, left over soda, cereal, milk, and french toast. Sometimes I have to add more milk or water to allow for an easier swallow. I hate it when I get the big chunks going down the pipes, it just feels so unnatural.

heywooood makes breakfast for the kids on Saturdays..

4 red potatoes nuked for 4 min..
dont skin 'em - just chop 'em into 1/2" cubes
Put em in a hot skillet that already has onions and bell peppers nicely chopped and sauteed with salt, pepper and a tablespoon of the salsa of your choice....mix it all around and let it cook for 2 min. like that...

then push it all to one side of the pan and spray some canola oil on the clear half of the pan...in go the eggs - 4 of 'em just beaten slightly...dont scramble the eggs - just let them cook omlette style until all the liquid is gone - them break 'em up and mix them into the potato/onion/bell pepper mixture.

Cover with shredded cheese and then put the lid on the pan and reduce the heat until all is melty and then mix it in....

Now heat up the tortillas - makes about 8 breakfast burritos.

You can add ham if you like, and serve with toast if you cant find tortillas where you are.

Workdays: 1 quart of coffee, squirt of heavy cream, tablespoon of honey, a sandwich baggie of spoon size shredded wheat or Cheerios, and traffic.

Weekends with the kids: Dad's Practically Perfect Pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, grape or orange juice, eggs scrambled with Swiss or cheddar cheese (none of that Velveeta Cr@p in our house!)& cut up squares of Lebanon Bologna, hot or cold chocolate milk, 1 quart coffee with 2 sticks of cinnamon, squirt of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon honey, silly jokes and two hours of washing dishes.

Weekends alone:1 quart coffee with 2 sticks of cinnamon, squirt of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon honey, leftover pizza, & newspaper.

A Sunday morning here,
big breakfast for Mum and Dad , the kids got the usual wheatbicks with milk and raisinbread (plus a bit of omlette this morning) plus some milk or orange/mango juice. The wife had one Kangaroo steak with Bordelaise sauce (made the sauce last night) and one fried egg and juice, I had one and a half Kangaroo steaks with Bordelaise sauce and two eggs and juice. Can't beat Kangaroo steaks, no fat (just had my cholesterol done and it's fine), tasty, much less environmentally destructive than cattle (tho I love steak and lamb too) and cheap in the supermarket.

A cup of tea, then...

Two huge bowls of organic cereal with blueberries and bananas and two bagels with organic peanut butter and jelly.

Then a huge coffee and a power bar on the way to work.

Dingo Bacon UUUGh!
Have you ever seen or smelled one of those evil rangy mangy dogs? parasite infested bu99ers, the thought is enough to put you off breakfast for "two weeks".

Still "my baby's got the dingo" is an interesting inversion for Evil Angels http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
