Is there a way to enable take-offs in Quick- or Full mission builder?
I tried checking it in the difficulty menu, but nothing happens

You cant taek off in quick mission biulder unless you land.

My advise is get "Mission Mate". This cracker of a utility will achieve exactly what you want. It is a free download available at M4T (Mission 4 Today). M4T will be off line for a couple of days to allow them to upgrade their server from wednesday 19th August. Hope you enjoy "Mission Mate" as much as I do. See below link.

Caution: Taking the following action could result in a serious addiction. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You can go to the Mission Builder forum, get some how-to stuff from those guys and print it up on paper or write it down. Open up Full Mission Builder in the game.
Sit back relax and learn it.
It is endless.
You can take off alright.
From a grass airfield, a concrete airfield, a street, a country road, or even a carrier! Or try a float plane.
