Does anyone know where I could find and listen to the complete cover of "all along the watchtower" that was in ghost recon AW. The song was really good, but the only way to listen to the song is to watch the credits, and thats now very fun.

I know about the trailer, im looking for the complete song that was in the trailer. Unless they only made a 30 second song and the part I saw in the trailer was actually the full song... Some guys from different bands came together and did a cover for "all along the watchtower" by Bob Dylan, and i heard the whole song in the credits for this game. Im looking for another place where i can find it.

The song used in GRAW was based more on Jimi Hendrix's interpretation. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gifToo bad they didn't use the original, on the other hand everybody would know in which bnuilding I would be camping all the time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I feel the Hendrix version of All Along the Watchtower is the best and the GRAW version a poor cover of a cover so to speak.

A little trivia for you, though Hendirx had so much fame before and after his death, this song, not even his own, is the only one he played that made it on the US Top 40 charts.

Just "nick" the Hendrix version of the song somewhere. His music has perhaps been more exploited than anyone's, including by neighborhood thieves in Greenwich Village right after his death, and even his own father long after.

It's a constant reminder that those whom throw away unearthly talents on booze and drugs are never really fully appreciated. Sometimes I wonder if even Jimmy himself wants us to see it that way and learn from it.
