Surley they didn´t have mouse either http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif The FS/CFS series have that mouse clicking and dragging but I found it to be more of a hassle than just press the keys.

its a larg problem with mouse, its awlays on the wrong side of the joystick, i think i would use keybord most of the time aswell. BUT, its still a cool thing to have. for exampel configure the bombsite or clean the conopy from oil with gasoline (that does exist in real planes, in bf109 anyways). you know all those small buttons when your far from action... ah maybe its a personal thing...

Reaching out for keys on a Keyboard is more realistic, The keyboard represents the cockpit panel.

The mouse is best used for looking around, better than the "standard" joystick hat switches used for "looking."

I want a pilot in the pit. And I want that pilot animatedhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif When I reach out to push a button with the mouse I want to see the hand of the pilot follow my mouse movement to the control lever/button/whatever. This could be accomplished by a combo key: (ex. space held down while moving mouse). The rest of the time the mouse would just be for moving your view . . . Oh yeah, I want to lean around in the pit as well.

What was it my mom used to say? Wish in one hand, and doo-doo in the other, then see which hand gets full first. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

dammit - I just pictured Hub Zemke flipping that big ol' Jug over in a split ess and jumping on some poor 109's A$$ only to realize his mouse has taken a turn around the cockpit and is now firmly wedged between the armour plate and the canopy frame behind him....now he is unable to complete the bounce.

I'd like clickable cockpit switches (in BoB hopefully) but I'd still like to use the mouse to look around. A key to switch between the modes would be nice.

I would´nt mind it, but I would´nt use it and I´d rather see them spend the time on other things...

Just my 2 cents http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It could be like the DOOM and you could raise Pilot Fist in the cockpit and shake it at teh Nazzi plane that got away.

I agree with Covino. Would like clickable pit, but mode switch to let mouse look be activated as well.

I like to use keyboard or HOTAS to control panels. That's more real and faster way.
Clicking panel with mouse..?? Ooo.. that so feels like 90's. What r we gonna do then? Stabilize my head and click switch pixel holding steady? Disable TIR? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Depends, will this little and relatively irrelivant feature suck up any CPU cycles? If the answer is yes, then I don't want it.

ofcouse it should be combo with some other key space or rightclick to use clicking mode from view mode just like the navmap... It would be strange if it took CPU power, its just a mousemap over the cockpit. i mean its all ready there when you use the navimap...

The idea is really good, but only for Luftwaffe planes.

To pull the trigger let the LW pilots move the mouse over the trigger and double right click.

For the allies this mouseclicking is just a waste of time. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif
