To keep up the pace I have a little trivia:

1. What was the Werknummer (porduction nr.) of the first Bf 109 to use 100 octane fuel, and who flew it?

2. What were the targets of the mission where the US 8th AF first used the B-17G model?

3. Where, when and by who was the last air to air kill achieved in ww2? And surface to air?

4. Who led the design team that build the Bf-109V1?

5. When is the patch gonna be out?

Good hunting, and remember: I want a reliable source on Q nr. 5 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

AA it was C6M Saiun, on august 15th 1945, at 5:40 am, roughly 5 minutes before oficially hostilities ceased. Dunno who was victor...

(there were kills also in next days, but WW2 was oficially over)

I know that the last official "kill" in the Eurpean theater was by an L-5 Stinson which shot down an Fi-156 Storch. The pilots used their Colt .45's to force the Storch down, and then captured its pilots.
