View Full Version : Include Strategy Guide in "99$ Special Edition"

Most of us have bought and played both previous titles, bought all the DLC, AND have now pre ordered the new title. For 100$ AT LEAST a PAPER BACK STRATEGY GUIDE should come with the Special Edition.

No, It is too late anyway and it would cause a lot of anger to people like me who have already baught an oversees collectors edition guide that is non refundable!

I can understand that, but it happens all the time. Not necessarily always with strategy guides, but other content and "bonuses" that people get for free AFTER thousands of people already paid in full. It certainly wouldn't be the first time gamers got upset (about anything, including things similar to this) and it certainly wouldn't be the last.

I guess if this did happen I could give it to someone as a gift or sell it over Ebay.

I could sufice as a replacement untill my collectors edition guide got delivered because its ETA is between december and january so I would have probably completed the game by then.

The game has gone golden now so(correct me if I'm wrong) adding a guide would cause a delay for the games release...

Why would you need a strategy guide? You're a master assassin!

Well, it would have been fair for them to include it in the Auditore and Special editions, considering both of those get almost nothing compared to the Codex, but it's too late for them to do anything about that now i think.

I said it might be nice though. unnecessary, but kind of cool.

I find that most guides are somewhat unnecessary in this series since nothing is missable. However, I would like a map of feather and flag locations since those things are hard to keep track of. Even with eagle vision making them appear on the map, it's still too hard to remember which ones you've found and which ones you haven't.
