Unless your system is more than 3 or 4 years old, there's no reason to buy a whole new system, unless it wasn't that hot to begin with. A quick CPU and graphic card change is about all you need. You don't have to be a 'geek' to upgrade either. Most of the time, it's easier than going to the kitchen and cooking a dinner for the family. Anymore, you don't even need any kind of tools, not even a screwdriver. But if you got money to burn, get a whole new system. Help buy someones swimming pool and Hummer by buying their company's computer. I'll keep the money saved for my own family, Thank You!

What are you waiting for? Do It Now!

Usually you can just get away with an upgrade in video or ram. I find that to be best for me since I'm running a 3gig AMD. For harddrives if you have a 40 gig thats enough. I find I can get in a Battlefield 1942 game faster with a 7200 rpm harddrive than the 5000 ones. I have 2 identical systems I built. I find it makes a huge difference if you want to get in the map first before all other slower players and you usually get the items you want quicker at start like planes and such. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

How about two Raptors at 10.000 rpm in Raid array? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
