wasn´t it completed?
and wasn´t it said that it would be in PF?

I never heard that the A-36 would be in PF. I heard it might have been in AEP as AI, but that was a mild rumour.

Dunno what happened to it.

There was some months ago an almost finished model of the A-36.

I think this project died. Sometime over the summer the original modeler had plans to give the model away to someone who wanted to finish it. I don't think I ever saw anyone pick it up again.

I looked at the modeler's database, hasn't been updated since long before AEP but there is a small pic of the A-36 with a damage model.

It went down in flames, pilot with it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

So they gave us the 109Z in it's place. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Shhhnnikes look at all those planes?

I see that page is old but tell me were getting at least some of those planes that aren't in yet.

I know the Pfiel and the Mossie and Typhoon are coming but I never knew those other ones were underway...

Theres an He-177, Hs 123, flyable FW 200, flyable B-17, 4 variants of the Do 217, and like 10 more new French, Polish, and Czech planes! That P-61 is hot too!

Dude please tell me that we'll see at least some of those.

There were Apaches in the Pacific?

I know they were in the Med, but that's all I know of them.

Anybody got any info?

Most of them were used by the 27th FBG in the Med from mid 1943 to 1944. A few were used by 311th FBG in India, the only PF related scenario to see Apaches, but that's still too far.

They were soon replaced by Mustangs.

About the models, I'm afraid that most of them are dead, now. I worked a bit as WIP skinner for He 177 project, but the original mod dropped it to work in PF with Luthier, and the project has been taken by several mods with little enthusiasm since then. I'm afraid it has no future.
