Hey, I found this on the internet, and I can't quite understand what it means. The best I can figure is that the Germans are telling ht French that the Allies are going to hurt them more than anything, or that the Allies are the real threat.

the Film itself has English Subtitles, but I can't translate the description of it very well.

Can someone help me with this?

I think the Germans are playing on old fears that the French have!
And I quote "The English will fight to the last Frenchman/woman."
A sentiment that I do not entirely disagee with or can find fault in.

Please remember that wartime propoganda is, by definition, self-serving B.S.!!

Don't read too much into it!

Thats Vichy-France propaganda.

Notice the stereotypical jew as speaker in the radio symbolizing the "real face of the allies and their motivations".

Its a "They say they come to liberate us but are bombing our cities and are killing innocent french civilians for that"

Popeye hanging out with Mickey and friends? The demonic skull vulture at the end was a nice touch though. Pretty lousy overall.

@Joeap "Oh please that's a load of crud." As if the Frenchmen themselves would not have "fought the Kriegsmarine" to the last Englishman? You sound pretty naive if you think any country on Earth wouldn't rather have someone else do the dying in war, including an Ally. It isn't as if the English and French had never slaughtered each other. As for the American insignias, why would the French feel any more secure about American concern for French casualties? Just my 2-cents... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Ah, Ok, Thanks All-Knowing Celeon. I figured you would know of all people.

Thanks. Well, I'm off to look for more.
