Duration of campaigns:
Saturday 18.00 h till Sunday 22.00 h
Per weekend one Theater will be played.

Game idea:
To realize a game experience as realistic as possible €" a simulation €" it was necessary to assign a specific air base and planes to each unit and to fix the role of each player and each unit. Unit deciding to join this role play are those playing for the realism of the game. Obvioulsy this means to accept longer ways to the targets and back, to designate oneself to objectives and to reach ones targets. The main role €" as in WW2 €" are playing bombers, dive bombers and ground attack planes of both parties. The task of fighter pilots is only to protect the attack of the bomber pilots and to keep their six clear. Fighters have to designate themselfs to the targets of Bombers, dive bombers and ground attackers.

The tasks:
Essentially every play type has his own task. Ground attack planes and dive bombers are to attack tanks and their fortifications. Level bombers have targets behind the lines. And the fighters? They have to excort the bombers with first priority! Only this ensures to reach the combat target! Therefore the fighters are called to rendevous points to escort the bombers, fight their way to target and back home again. Also, it will be necessary to fly cap over own air bases and draw back enemy attacks. Main priority however is to follow up the bombers targets in the battle.

The air fields:
As already mentioned, every unit has its own air base, where only the planes available to the unit are present. The number of planes is restricted per unit and per campaign to 36. This number is diversified into 2 to 3 types. As time goes by (years), newer types will be assigned, older ones outdated. On the airfields corresponding static planes are allocated. 50% of each type is as static material located on the field. Destroyed static planes will be deducted from the available planes on field!

As will be recognized, airfield for bombers, dive bombers and battle planes are substancially better armed then fighter bases. The reason is obvious.

Every player can only take base on his units air field. Planes not landed back on their own base are lost. Therefore good navigation is a must! The more pilots forming a wing, the higher the chance to get back (more bombers €" more defensive power €" more navigators).

On the Server:
Access will be permitted only to registered players. Every player has his call sign and pass word. Combination of both defines the players identification. Proceed as follows:
1. Open FAP and choose multiplayer
2. Press Join Game (or €žInternet Spiel beitreten€œ)
3. give in there the IP 62.132.132.142
4. Press Okay

- Shouldn`t the server grant access now, you are not yet registered. Register immediately and access will be granted!
5. After loading the map get into the chat window and give in your pass word in the format: <login: yourpassword
6. press Enter once. A Selection menue appears: 1.ALL 2.MyArmy 3.Server (if under point 3 it is not €žServer€œ, type in €žServer€œ there and press Enter
7. Scroll down to €ž3.Server€œ amd press enter.

Now you van choose your airfield. Your airfield is the one that offers the plane types assigned to your unit. You will not be able to start from an other base. Now, after reaching your air field, choose your appreciated plane, the due fuel amount and ammunition, if wished. (Bombs, Rokets, auxillary fuel tanks). Weapons not allowed are listed in Briefing on top. E.g. weapons allowed to the BF 110 represent only the historical armament of types Bf 110 4c and 4b. As well special ammunition as PC 1600 and SC2000 for bombers and dive bombers are out of bounds for 1941/42 types. Also red fighter units have no RS and BRS Rokets available. These are available only to ground attack planes. Ensure yourself, that the chosen plane type is available. Should you receive the message €žYour Plane is not available€œ once in cockpit, do not try to fly with it. The server would kick you out. As well, if you take less then the due minimum fuel amount, which is 75%.

If you dye or get captured: 10 minutes death kick, after you can join the game again.


Special Tasks

Conquer flights
Choose the necessary plane type on the given base. Set armament to 'default'
In cockpit, type into chat box:

If the Server accepted the command, the chat line reports a feedback like "Truppen eingestiegen" (given in the GUI for €žconquere€œ command)

Fly the plane to target and land there. After stopping the plane, type into the chat box:

<unload<para

If the Server accepted the command, the chat line reports a feedback like "wait 2 minutes". If the necessary time has passed, the feedback like "Truppen sind ausgestiegen" is given.

Now you can fly back. If you just leave the plane on the enemy base, it will be lost and you get caught.
Once all necessary troops are braught in the a message like "Auftrag erfüllt" occurs.

Supply/transportation flight
Choose the necessary plane type on the given base. Set armament to 'default'
Fly Plane to target base and land.
After plane has stopped, a message like "Warte 2 Minuten" occurs After necessary time has passed, a message like . "Truppen sind ausgestiegen" will be given
Now you can fly back
Once all supply flights (transportation flights) necessary for the task are fullfilled, a message occurs like "Auftrag erfüllt"
