Whether these movies are good or not is open to
discussion but they do contain ww2 planes.

Dark blue world
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Catch-22
Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow
Mosquito Squadron
Final countdown
Bridges at Toko-Ri (has some ww2 prop planes)

And let's not forget...
Pearl Harbor http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

you can add 12 o'clock high with gregory peck, lots of B17 in it.

If all you want is planes the Pearl Harbor, The Tuskegee Airmen, The memphis Belle are ok too.. granted some of the CGI footage in PH is kind of hokey.. but still... it's planes..... and it's more palpable than the underwater P-40 od Sky Captain... (Not that that was all that bad either... hey after all it was a P-40 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif)

I think we can all take Sky Captain... as a terrible warning of the dangers of open coded sims - must admit a grappling hook for helping with my turning would be useful though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

It's only a few seconds worth, but the P-51 attack in Empire of the Sun is very well shot
as are most of the flying sequences in Catch-22.
If you're looking for sheer spectacle apart from Battle of Britain, the only game in town is Tora! Tora! Tora! (imho)

Piece of Cake - not a movie but an old mini-series
