How well do you think Ubisoft is going to do in terms of historical accuracy?

I hope we see traces of the effects of how the Black Death affected Europe not only from death, but the long term social and economic effects.

Also, will we see the distinct differences from the three different estates? (1st = clergy, church officals, etc, 2nd = nobles, 3rd = artists, merchants, peasants, etc)

I say this because the Renaissance only affected the top 5% of the population... the elite of the elite.

I hope we see affiliations with The Church in this game too, since that was a huge aspect.

Welcome painkille137.
These are some interesting questions. And although they would add depth to the game, I don't think Ubi will do them cause the story is gonna be focused more on the vengeance part and Assassins vs Templars part.
However they may be able to add a few missions where you have to find a potion or assemble the ingredients of a potion from multiple places before a fellow thief/merc/prostitute dies of the plague. Maybe that guy would be the guild leader of something, and you'd therefore win his favor, i.e. be able to summon thieves/mercs/prositutes. That would be a cool mission.

I think there could be a whole other aspect of the game.

For example, the assassins get into dealing with the papacy. The papacy was the most powerful thing in that day, and they were becoming more and more corrupt as the Renaissance continued on.

You could assassinate Cardinals, mess with the Church Of Council, or with the Roman Catholic Church itself. You could create fear in the third class

Lol, well, be rest-assured that I will nit-pick through every detail once I finish the game XD lol

I just want to see some use of Venice's Council of Ten and the Mouths of Truth.

There is nowhere to run or hide;
there is no hole to crawl inside.
We'll know the gaps in Ubi's wit,
for Marka picks the smallest nits.

I don't do it as a profession. It's only a hobby.

But just you wait...

Someday you'll be prepared to post a bit of creativity;

I think they'll keep it real in that sense, since we already saw the 'birdmen' plague doctors. AC1 was set just after the siege at Acre (which left thousands dead) and you could see piles of bodies all over the place.

Ah okay. Yeah it would be awesome to see some of the Renaissance history tie in with this game

In the GDC gameplay video that was released, Ezio straight up buys poison from a Plague Doctor.

Haha.
