I am looking at purchasing a Mic for IL2FB and Lomac Voice Comms with Teamspeak. I already have a great pair of headphones, so I am not looking for a headphone/mic combo. I am just looking for a good quality mic that I can wear and that plugs into the 1/8" mic jack on my soundcard. I am not too interested in USB.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance as always!

The only advice I can give you is to do Google searches for variations of 'lapel microphone', 'clip microphone' and 'collar microphone', and start reading reviews!

I'm not sure that an 'omni directional' (sometimes called 'uni directional') lapel mic would work well if you have computer hum, keyboard taps, clothes movement, etc, as it would pick them all up quite well; head mounted mics are much closer to the source than clip/lapel mics so the problem isn't as apparent. Try looking for a 'directional' (sometimes called 'Cardioid') type of lapel mic.

I'm looking for specific recommendations on a head or ear worn mic, not a lapel mic. I can wear this with the headphones I already have.

Hmmm... good luck finding a head-worn mic that doesn't also have headphones; never seen one.
Sorry I couldn't help.
