Does anyone know of any good PF engine management articles, preferably spelling things out step-by-step for idiots like m'self?

I am spending a lot of time peering at the guages to see what is happening as I change settings, without being sure whether I'm doing the right thing anyway, and looking up to see that I'm upside down or in a flat spin or whatever.

So far I've got... Climbing or Fighting --- 90% throttle, 90% pitch; Cruising --- 50% throttle, 60% pitch; TakeOff and Landing --- WEP or low/no throttle, 100% pitch. Radiator fully open and auto fuel mix all the time. Seems a bit wrong, somehow.

Thanks for any help received.

Try this CEM Guide from Airwarfare (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_cem.htm)
It was recommended to me when I asked the same question.

Thank you Tallyho. I found this just now

and the whole site is fun.

You can also try this (http://www.av8n.com/how/) if you find yourself interested in learning more about flying in general. It's enormous, but the writing is very clear.
