There are a lot of really interesting planes to see there, well worth a visit! Free entry too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I spent some time talking to a guy working on the Halifax wreck that was recovered from a lake in the 70's after it crash landed following a raid on the Tirpitz.

I haven't got any pictures as I forgot the camera. IDIOT.

i havent been to Hendon yet, maybe next year but Duxford is a **** good day out.
there is a little aviation museum in yorkshire (yorkshire air museum) at elvington.
it only a small museum but it has the most complete Halifax (in the UK at least) and they are hoping to get it flying again.
heres the link:
first to the Halifax:

now the museum itself:

Hendon is a great place, as are all the IMP museums. Its a shame they don't have the collection in one place, it might well be one of the largest and most comprehensive in the world.

Duxford is my favorite though.
