Any news on the D XXI? I can't wait for it, and some dev updates would be great to pass the time. Cheers http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

And a big one. This is rendered with FOV 60 so it should be what you see at normal view (1280x1024).

Light setup is not realistic. Too much black spots.

First I've hear do f this plane, n IL2 and in real life.

Whats the situation in IL2? Are we getting it in the same patch as the tempest?

Also, who used it and when? It looks like it has 2x20mm cannon so it cant be too old.

I think if I remember corectly this gauge is filled with fluid/alcohol (the compass in fact floats) and the rest of the guages are filled with air.

From memory, so I may have muffed it.

Interesting points about the compass. I just modelled it much like it is in FR-110 (in Tikkakoski aviation museum). Fiat G.50 had canopy that turned yellow. I dunno if it was Finnish cold climate that did it or was just bad quality plexiglass. Maybe the compass is little too yellow considering that the plane itself should be brand new (EARLY version). Last planes of series 3 came out from the factory just before Winter War started. However the LATE version is not enough weathered, since it uses same textures as EARLY.

Compass doesn't actually float because it's supported by struts (clearly visible in some pics). I had long argument with Hurri-Khan about this and finally we agreed that it's supported, not free floating.
