Cool, what plane will you be training in? And how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
I started flying in 1992, not too long ago.

A whole new world awaits you, congrats!

Flown gliders, now considering taking up ultralights, very affordable way to fly.

SO far half a doen glider flights, including an unassisted landing my first time. A cessna flight, where I jumped straight into areobatics and managed an assisted landing and a back seater in a 51B.

Learned to fly and did first solo in a J3 Cub, owned a Cessna 140, flew 150/2,170/2, 182 Cessnas, Cherokee 140, Thomahawk, Six, Lance, Archer. Did a bit of soaring in Schweitzer 2-22s and 2-33s, had a bit of time in Grob 103's.

Had a go at most things during my career. Helicopters big and small, from Robinsons to Chinooks...... Fighters from Fuga's to Jaguars.... Most of the light stuff you could think off and even had a go on an Airliner.

would realy love to have a go in a Hot Air Balloon

It would be interesting to set this question up as a poll.

I think there's a lot of RL pilots here.

Personally I've never held a licence, but have owned and operated an ultalight, a parapent & have 1157 skydives. I haven't been able to "turn points" in il-2 yet.

Nice, Cessnas are very user-friendly, and it is better to start young. I started flying at 17 too!
It can get expensive, but it does pay off in the long run.

I'm extremely interested in one day being a pilot and owning either a an ultralight, or a small plane. But first I have to make it out of school. (Only 14 right now.) It's a long road, but I will see the end of the road one way or another.

Learned in a PA140
But that was like a hundred years ago.
Great fun but couldn't afford to go on, with a young family to support.
